Consultations without Testing

The outcome of consultation depends heavily on the quality and quantity of available prior information.  It includes the following:

• Detailed review of report cards, prior evaluations, and testing provided by the school.
• Collection of rating scale data from parents and teachers.
• Completion of a detailed developmental questionnaire by the parents.
• After review of the above information, a one-hour interview with the child or adolescent.
• Development of written diagnostic impressions and recommendations based on the background and interview data.
• Two-hour feedback session with parents/guardians and parties invited by them.
